John Deere lawn tractors are the most popular brand in North America, with good reason

Today John Deere lawn tractors are considered the best lawn tractors overall.

The SPEEDEX Tractor Corporation was founded in 1935 by Harold Pond, who is considered the developer of the first four wheel riding lawn tractor in North America. While not the most comfortable tractor, the 38-inch deck cuts a narrower swath compared to others. Overall, Bolens owners say their tractors are fine for flat lawns of up to an acre in size.
